The “Fox in the Henhouse” bill package in the State Legislature is on the move again.
The Michigan Competitiveness Committee in the Michigan House of Representatives is holding a meeting Wednesday at 2:30 PM in Room 307 of the House Office Building. On the agenda are the three Anti-Department of Environmental Quality (Senate-passed) bills: SB 652, 653, and 654. Tomorrow’s meeting is expected to be only a hearing, with a vote likely in committee next week.
FLOW has reported on these bad bills, here and here.
If you want to let state representatives know that these bills are unacceptable, look up your state rep here to call them or send them a direct message on these bills here.
This is a disgusting display of going over the wishes and wants of you constituents.
